Welcome to the homepage of Solid-State Quantum Transport Group!!
Solid-State Quantum Tranport Group is a new group in Tohoku University
and just started in April,2006.
We are interested in solid-state physics which have emphasis on carrier
interactions in semiconductor quantum systems.
We fabricate high-quality quantum structures based on GaAs and Si semiconductors
and measure quantum transport characteristics of these structures under
high megnetic field at low temperatures.
We also have interests in manipulating additional degree of freedom, like
nuclear spins in semiconductors.
We hope that these studies will open a new way toward the future quantum
computer based on solid- state systems.
Some of our studies are carried out in collaboration with NTT Basic Research
Laboratories. |
